Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Muddy Bot and the tf2keys.net website. By using the service, you agree to them.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
1. Who we are
Muddy Bot (“Muddy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates an automated digital item trading service at tf2keys.net. Muddy Bot is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam.
2. What we offer
We provide a web-based trading bot that lets signed-in Steam users buy and sell TF2 Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys for supported cryptocurrencies. Trades are fulfilled through Steam trade offers. Sale proceeds may be paid out to a wallet address you provide or credited to an on-site balance to be paid out later.
Features, supported currencies, networks, rates, and stock may change at any time.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must have a valid Steam account and meet Steam’s requirements for trading (including Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator rules that avoid trade holds).
- You must provide an accurate Steam trade URL when prompted so we can send trade offers.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your Steam account secure. We authenticate users via Steam login; we do not manage Steam passwords.
- You must be legally allowed to use cryptocurrency services in your jurisdiction.
4. User rules
You agree that you will:
- Use Muddy Bot only for lawful purposes and in line with Steam’s subscriber agreements and applicable law.
- Send the exact crypto amounts and use the networks shown for deposits and withdrawals.
- Double-check wallet addresses and networks before confirming a payout. Crypto transactions are irreversible.
- Not attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the site, bot, APIs, or related systems.
- Not use the service for money laundering, fraud, stolen items or other illicit activity.
- Not create or use multiple accounts to evade bans or other restrictions.
5. Trades, payments, and refunds
- Buying keys: You pay with supported crypto (or available on-site balance). After payment is confirmed, we send a Steam trade offer for the purchased keys. You must accept the offer to receive them.
- Selling keys: We send a Steam trade offer requesting your keys. After you accept, crypto is sent to your address or credited to your balance, depending on the option you chose.
- Fees: We currently charge no platform fee on buy/sell trades. Network (blockchain) fees may apply when withdrawing crypto to an external address. Rates and fees shown in the UI at the time of the order apply.
- Failed or expired trades: If a purchase trade fails or expires after payment, funds are typically credited to your balance so you can try again. If a sale trade fails or expires, no keys are taken and no payout is started. Contact support if something looks wrong.
- Refunds: Cryptocurrency payments are final. Where we can help (for example, a confirmed deposit without a completed trade), we may credit your balance or otherwise resolve the case at our discretion after review. We do not guarantee refunds to an external wallet.
6. Copyright and content
- The Muddy Bot website, branding, logos, text, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse them without permission, except as needed for normal personal use of the service.
- Steam, Team Fortress 2, and related marks belong to Valve Corporation.
- Support tickets and messages you send remain yours, but you grant us a license to use them to operate support, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
7. No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, error-free operation, fixed exchange rates, instantaneous blockchain confirmations, or Steam availability. Steam, blockchain networks, and third-party providers can delay or disrupt trades.
8. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muddy Bot and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost keys, lost crypto, or data loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service—including losses caused by user error (wrong address/network), Steam issues, network congestion, third-party outages, or unauthorized access to your Steam account.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability related to any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the specific transaction at issue (often zero) or (b) the USDC-equivalent value of that transaction as recorded by us, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Account suspension and bans
We may limit, suspend, or permanently ban accounts, withhold suspicious payouts for review, or refuse service if we believe you have:
- Violated these terms, Steam rules, or the law
- Failed risk, fraud, or abuse checks
- Used stolen keys, compromised accounts, or banned withdrawal addresses
- Abused support, payment flows, or promotional mechanics
Banned users may still contact support through the site where available. We may keep records needed for security, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Muddy Bot after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms. For material changes, we may also provide additional notice on the website or via support channels.
